DESCRIPTION:Join us for three powerful days of worship and the Word with a 
 special guest speaker Dr. Jimmy Jeffcoat. \nDr. Jeffcoat currently serves
  as Pastor of Discipleship and Young Adult Teacher at Frazer Methodist Chu
 rch in Montgomery\, Alabama. He previously served on the faculty of Huntin
 gdon College for over 25 years as Professor and Chaplain\, and also minist
 ered at First Methodist Church\, Tulsa.\nA respected scholar and teacher\,
  Dr. Jeffcoat earned degrees from the University of Alabama\, Asbury Theol
 ogical Seminary\, and Drew University\, where he completed his PhD in Chur
 ch History.\n \nMenus for the week\nSunday Lunch - 11:30am\nHam - Chicken

 Special Offerings\nPlease note that while our Sunday Morning offering will
  be designated as always to our operating budget\, each evening service wi
 ll feature a different missional opportunity.\nSunday night offerings will
  go toward our school supply drive. This year we are focusing on our local
  High Schools and Middle Schools and their specific needs. You can see a l
 ist of items later in this newsletter. Any funds collected on Sunday Night
  will go towards the purchase of supplies for these students\nMonday night
  offerings will go toward our “community help” fund. Each week we rece
 ive requests to help with utilities for those who are having trouble makin
 g payments. We allow families to request up to $50 every 6 months. Applica
 nts bring us their current bill\, and funds are paid directly to the utili
 ty company. As you might expect\, our requests increase during seasons of 
 extreme temperatures. With August approaching\, we want to make sure we ha
 ve enough to cover those requests.\nTuesday night offerings will go toward
  our 5th Thursday Ministry. Every few months (whenever there is a 5th Thur
 sday)\, we give away food boxes to our community. These are a blessing to 
 the families that receive them\, and it allows us an opportunity to fulfil
 l our mission to love and serve others! As you know\, food costs have rise
 n significantly\, and our sources at the food bank have not been as bounti
 ful. We need your help to continue giving to this vital ministry of our ch
 urch.
