Special Offerings

Please note that while our Sunday Morning offering will be designated as always to our operating budget, each evening service will feature a different missional opportunity.

Sunday night offerings will go toward our school supply drive. This year we are focusing on our local High Schools and Middle Schools and their specific needs. You can see a list of items later in this newsletter. Any funds collected on Sunday Night will go towards the purchase of supplies for these students

Monday night offerings will go toward our “community help” fund. Each week we receive requests to help with utilities for those who are having trouble making payments. We allow families to request up to $50 every 6 months. Applicants bring us their current bill, and funds are paid directly to the utility company. As you might expect, our requests increase during seasons of extreme temperatures. With August approaching, we want to make sure we have enough to cover those requests.

Tuesday night offerings will go toward our 5th Thursday Ministry. Every few months (whenever there is a 5th Thursday), we give away food boxes to our community. These are a blessing to the families that receive them, and it allows us an opportunity to fulfill our mission to love and serve others! As you know, food costs have risen significantly, and our sources at the food bank have not been as bountiful. We need your help to continue giving to this vital ministry of our church.
